To work from home effectively you’ll need to be organized, a self-starter, motivated, and most likely at least reasonably good with technology.
Because you’re working from home you won’t have anyone (in person) to tell you what you should be doing and how you should be doing it. Even if you have deadlines to meet, you’ll still have more freedom than you would in an office. This is both a blessing and a curse, especially for procrastinators. Make sure to take short breaks so that you can stay focused. It’s best to have a designated workspace in your home (if you can), where you can keep everything organized that you need to do your job. Most work from home jobs will require the use of computers and/or phones, so you’ll also need to be at least a bit tech-savvy, or willing to learn.
