A 600 credit score isn't bad, but it's not good either.
A 600 credit score isn’t bad, but it’s not good either. Generally, credit scores range from 300 to 850, with 300 being poor and 850 being excellent. Depend on the credit scoring model you use; you might get different results of where your credit score falls.
Generally, credit scores from 300 to 579 are considered poor; 580 to 669 are considered fair; 670 to 739 are considered good; 740 to 799 are considered very good; 800 and up are considered excellent.
If your credit score is fair, you may have some difficulty getting better loans because the lender views you as a subprime borrower. So while a 600 credit score is not poor, it’s not high enough for you to get the best loan terms available.
